Links on the right quite incomplete. I've made so many great friends in this great industry It's hard to know where to start. (funny what happens when you get photographers together eh?)

SO, here's the deal. Claire is going to be doing interviews, we're going to be writing how to articles, and much more. We want to share our experience. It's an amazing gift that we are able to travel this road along side all of you.

Hi Guys, We've had such a good time with our pilot run of "the studio" that we have decided to create a series. We will be shooting regularly new episodes for your enjoyment.

We feel that this is a perfect way to show you all what our work days are like here at JGP. (with a fun twist of course) Please keep in mind when you watch these episodes that we really love what we do. We all feel so fortunate to have careers where we are daily creating art for our clients.

We hope you enjoy seeing us poke fun at ourselves. Our philosophy on a wedding day is that if everybody is having fun, the work will be extraordinary. It's no different with post production. That is why weekly dedicate ourselves to having a good time. "The Studio" episodes are a result.

I'm really enjoying the process of creating an gorgeous album for Jordon & Andrea. The two were married New Years Eve 2005. We are finally able to begin the process of making the extraordinary album. The challenge has been huge from the start. In fact, not even the slightest bit of daylight was available for this wedding. We started photographing Jordon & Andrea far after the sun had gone down on a cold and miserable winter day here in Seattle. Did it matter? Absolutely not. We had a blast working with all the beautiful ambient light at McCaw Hall (Seattle's Ballet Hall) We used nothing but the lights from ceiling cans, floor cans, video light, and the features of this beautiful hall.

I'd also like to say that Yervant was definitely missing. Yervant has been considered to be one of the worlds best for 8 years now. His work is still amazing. Yervant and Anie are the King and Queen of graciousness within the photography community. AMAZING WORK. Take a look.

Bambi Cantrell is such a jewel of a person. She no doubt deserves this honor, not only for her photography, but also her commitment to teaching other photographers. I am proud to call her my friend. (I'm shooting a wedding w/ Bambi & Dawn Shields next month- this will be an awesome day. -Lucky couple, 3 photogs pouring their hearts into their wedding)

Jerry Ghionis is really shaking it up the last couple of years. Jerry is an awesome photographer and so committed to helping others as well. He definitely worthy of the title. Thanks for pushing us Jerry.

Our seminar in California went really well last week (the first episode of 'The Studio' was a hit!) and we're really looking forward to expanding the possibility of other workshops/seminars. It's such a great, fun way to share our experience & knowledge and at the same time, get to know other photographers who love what they do. So stay tuned - a workshop may be on the horizon! (AUGUST!) We'll be announcing things soon.
We'll be celebrating the pacific northwest and all the Seattle and the San Juan Islands have to offer. May even include our beach house.

BODA Bags is moving ahead at full speed. We're hoping to launch our website (goboda.com) in April.

Thanks for checking out our latest project. We have had a lot of email coming in regarding Episode #1 of "The Studio". It was a really fun project, and we hope it brought some laugther to your day. It's really designed to be an ice-breaker at our upcoming seminar for the California PPA on Thursday. However...this was so much fun for all of us that we think we'll keep going. Your feedback is welcome! Who knows...your idea may be featured in a future episode. Meanwhile, stay tuned! All week we've been preparing for our presentation next Thursday for the California Professional Photographers Association. Katarina and I are going to put on an awesome show with much to see and hear. Of course we have been updating our image slideshows and...a couple of fun new ideas.
