Another shot from Friday. HUGE bridal party. We had a blast of course. Why do I shoot so much sky? Seattle has great skies! Also, this image will make a fantastic WOW album spread. You don't need to see the faces perfectly because that will occur on other pages. This will be the eye break.

Since I was on the subject of unintentional gifts I thought I would share this image which has become one of our signature shots. This was a wind given gift. I could not believe it when I shot it. Not a bit of photoshot to form the heart. Crazy eh? These things happen at every wedding. We are so fortunate to be invited to do what we do. Don't you think?

Whoa! Is that an arrow pointing to them? Crazy. Not a big deal however it sure is amazing how many unintentional gifts we are given as photographers. Shooting like crazy this weekend so I will have much to share. Another wedding today in the lovely downpouring Seattle. I'm excited for it because I'm going shoot primarily inside today. I really enjoy being forced inside.

When is Color Infrared cool? I don't know? I feel like lately everybody is overworking their images in Photoshop so I've been trying to reley upon PS much less these days. Color infrared & BW infrared is something I used to shoot a lot when film was around. I loved it. Now I have the steps. If you are interested, I'll teach you.

You know sometimes you get to shoot special people who have been dealt a gift in life. We do often and most of them wish to remain anonamous graciously. We are so fortunate for our time spent with this couple. This image sums them up. Totally blessed with eachother. With their permission I will tell the story of this shoot.

Been back from Sweden for 4 days now. I've shot not stop and had a blast however I'm still jet laged. Here's a sample of what we had time to process for you. It's a microsample of course, I'm embarassed to tell you how many images we shot. I just get so excited to do what we do. This collection doesn't include a single image from the wedding teaser below. It's so big we can't even open the image file. Claire spent hours today on tech support. I need to tell you that I love taking the effort to share with you all. Wish I had more time to email with you as well.

OK, So I'm back to this empty home without my Girls. I simply can't describe how empty this house is. The saving grace is why I came home. What a gift this couple is to us. This was heaven to photograph you! PLEASE watch for this work on this blog. I will surely share it.

Our good friend Katja took the camara from my hand and grabbed this one. Thanks Katja! I'm not on this side of the camera often. This is me and Katarina, my beautiful wife of almost 9 years. Katarina is an awesome mommy to Gabriella and Linnea. She is more beautiful on the inside than she is outwardly and is absolutely adored by her family. We love you!

A Very Special Day for the Garner Family

Four Years ago we baptized our sweet Gabriella here in Sweden in a 10th century church. Today it was Linnea's turn. We have very special friends with us, Katja and Hanfried and Katja's parents Hanna and Gunter which made it extra special. Katarina's parents arranged it all for us and it was perfect. Our beautiful Linnea was a star. The entire day focussed on her as we celebrated her life and chistening. Here are a few snaps from the day.

First Moments in Sweden

Katarina's family has a beautiful home on the West Coast north of Gothenburg. This has to be one of the most Beautifull places on Earth. There are hundreds of Islands with little red fishing sheds. So picturesque. So, I have just begun posting. What a gift to have time to spend with my family, taking pictures and posting a few for you. This is DAY1
